Welcome to the College of Agriculture! Our
blend of learning (on- and off-campus), discovery and outreach
programs through the federal/state partnership
with the Montana
Agricultural Experiment Station and Extension service reflects our university's
unique Land Grant
designation. We have created B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. academic programs that will challenge
you to excel beyond a traditional educational program.
We are also actively engaged in off-campus education through efforts of the Extension
Service and faculty, staff and students.
Our dynamic research programs are
conducted throughout Montana with Bozeman-based and
agricultural research center-based faculty and
staff. We generate and disseminate superior knowledge
and technological/policy solutions to increase the competitiveness
of Montana agricultural and natural resource enterprises.
Through our work, we seek to preserve environmental
quality, improve quality of life and add value to our
resources. Frequently, these research/outreach
projects integrate Montana citizens as well as
our most prized component, the students who are the future professionals
addressing agriculture and natural resource issues.
